Encoding text information

Textual information

Information expressed by means of natural and formal languages in written or printed form. When we retell information that we have encoded (written down) we decode so to speak translating it into understandable material.

How does encoding happen on a computer?

When we press a certain button on the keyboard, a certain sequence of electrical impulses is transmitted to the computer processor, then the processor processes this sequence and transmits it to the program we are working with and this program does the transformation, according to some rules it decodes the given letter.

There is a single international standard, in America in 1963 was created table ASCII, it is encoded 128 characters. It contains letters, numbers, punctuation marks, mathematical signs and actions.
